As a student I was inspired by artists who had similar childhoods and backgrounds or were inspired in all ways by the feminine figure. Frida Kahlo, Eva Hesse, Klimt, Georgia O’Keeffe, Louise Bourgeois. Dancers like Sylvie Guillem who was a daily inspiration during my time at the Opéra, Carolyn Carlson and Pina Bausch, always kept alive di
